This year Swami celebrated his birthday at his Ashram with approximately one hundred thousand friends, devotees and students. Mr Raghuveera Reddy, the Agricultural Minister for Andhra Pradesh State was one of many speakers. In his speech he praised Swami for all of the social welfare activities that he and the Shirdi Sai Global Trust have provided, including free medical camps and schools for the poor, roads, electricity, drinking water and the reconstruction of ancient temples. Swami was thirty-five years old.

Swami used the energy of the Ala Hala Lingam for several processes. He taught Shiva and Mother Divine channels, Shiva Prakshalana Kriya, the Maheshwari Mother Divine Process, Soul Traveling and the Universal Womb Chakra Process in Germany and Japan. He has his students participate in several miracles throughout the year: The Ala Hala Lingam bleeds water, Swami gives Jesus darshan to many students, Swami turns a large vessel of water to wine, he performs Kandhana Yoga on birds - cutting and re-fixing (supernatural healing techniques), having a student drink cobra poison and surviving.
Charitable Work and Activities in India
On his birthday Swami pledges 100 crore rupees to build a super speciality hospital in Penukonda to serve the poor. Swami, through the Shirdi Sai Global Trust, began the Adopt a Village Program. One hundred villages in Andhra Pradesh State were adopted by the Trust which provided clean drinking water, electricity, medical care, education, food and roads were to be provided. The village leaders from the hundred Adopted a Village Program were invited to the Penukonda Ashram to give their list of needs to Swami.
Sri Sai Kaleshwar Orphanage Charitable Trust was established to take care of an already existing orphanage in Penukonda and allow for more orphanages to be created in the district.
Sri Sai Kaleshwar Educational Trust was established for the education of the poor.
The Sri Sai Kaleshwar Home for the Aged was established to take care of the elderly who have no families to care for them.
The Sri Sai Kaleshwar Home for the Mentally Retarded was established for the care and education of the mentally handicapped.
The Shirdi Sai Global Trust organized a free Eye Camp in Hindupur that will continue under the guidance of the Navya Shree Eye Hospital. More than two hundred and fifty people were cared for and sixty-seven successful eye operations were completed.
Two hundred meritorious students from extremely poor backgrounds, some of whom were discovered making a living selling small foods and goods on the streets to help support their families, were adopted by the Shirdi Sai Global Trust. A search was made by the Trust throughout the schools of the Mandals of Sommandepalli, Roddam and Penukonda to find the poorest but highest ranking students. These two hundred students were invited to the Ashram by Sri Kaleshwar, where he gave them a choice of ten to twelve of the best corporate colleges to choose from. The Trust will pay each student's entrance, boarding and lodging fees. This program was designed to work with the District Collector’s project “Ananta Animutyalu” to educate the nations youth.
Sri Kaleshwar through the Shirdi Sai Global Trust donated 2.19 Crores Rupees (about $500,000) for the construction of a paved road to the historical site on top of the western mountain behind his Ashram. During the 1500s, the famous King, Krishnadeva Raya built several temples including a Narasimha Temple and lake which provided water for the town of Penukonda. This is to be the first of a network of roads which will connect all of the 365 Temples in Penukonda town and nearby areas. This will open up the area for tourism.
The Krushigrameena Development Society invited Swami as their chief guest to distribute nutritious food to children suffering with HIV. Swami was very deeply touched and fed the children with his own hand.
Sri Kaleshwar donated 50 laks rupees (about $100,000) for the support of three hundred poor students to pursue a higher education. The funds will be used to pay for all of their educational expenses, including food and housing during their studies. This program was designed to continue for at least two years.
