This is the year of wedding and extensive travels. On the 2nd of January Sri Kaleshwar married Shilpa Gajjala. It was a joyous occasion with close to one hundred thousand people in attendance. Later in the year, on the 7th of October, Swami and Shilpa were blessed with the birth of their daughter Navya. Swami was 32 year old.

Swami traveled to Germany three times this year to work with a large group of serious students. He created three groups: the Yellow Scarf, Green Scarf and Blue Scarf in order to more easily teach them meditation processes, knowledge and give them divine experiences. Swami worked with these groups for several years with great success. The Brahma Consciousness Process was taught this year along with preparing his students for darshans.
Charitable Work in India
Swami gave as a gift, free weddings to 578 couples from poor families. Clothing and jewellery was provided for the wedding couples along with food to feed the thousands of family members who attended the wedding. Swami and the Shirdi Sai Global Trust administers and sponsored a mega eye camp in Penukonda to provide free cataract surgeries and glasses for those in need. His mission was to have the state of Andhra Pradesh free of blindness. Swami donated five lakh Rupees to the RDO of Penukonda for the Tsunami Relief, a fund created by the Chief Minister of India.
