Swami Invited a group of approximately thirty western students to further their studies with him in India. They stayed at a house in Bangalore which was provided by one of Swami's dearest devotees. During their stay they went on a Power Journey, by bus, to temples and holy sights to meditate and experience the energy. In 1998 Swami was twenty-five years old.
In February for Shiva Ratri, Swami and his students traveled to a very remote Shiva Temple in the mountains. It was there, in the small village of Sri Silam, that Swami birthed two Atma Lingams, bringing powerful, divine energies into this world.

- Swami provided financial assistance for the poor in needy to receive medical help.
- Swami distributed 150 tricycles to the handicapped poor of Andhra Pradesh.
- Swami provided financial assistance for high ranking students, from poor families, to attend university.
